This cutting board is made using solid hard wood and more specifically solid Black Walnut and Curly Maple. It features rubber feet on the bottom to keep the board off the counter which prevents any standing water from soaking into the board causing the board to go rancid. Each board made by Dallas Rustic is thoroughly soaked in mineral oil to keep the fibers in the board alive and prevents cracking and splitting this also limits knife marks from being so prominent after use. Following this we apply a beeswax finish to really lock everything in and bring out its beautiful colors. Our boards also include hand holes formed in the sides for ease of use, just pick up the board and take it where you need it without it fumbling in your hands.
