This is a completely handmade coffee table. For the top, we used Ash hardwood slabs that were salvaged from Iowa City, Iowa. They have some fantastic figuring in the grain. Ash wood is beginning to become rare do to the Emerald Ash borer devastating all of the Ash tree’s throughout the United States. Ash is our favorite of the lighter hardwoods. The wood grain is truly beautiful in these slabs. The natural cracks and voids have been filled with epoxy.

The coffee table base is build from 1/8th inch hot-rolled steel. We custom fabricated and TIG-welded it together in our shop. We welded the base to fit the table top. We went with a very minimalist design on this one, but it really compliments the top perfectly.

Dimensions are: 38″ x 37″ x 20″

We finished the table top with a food-grade Hardwax oil finish that produces 0% VOC’s (volatile organic compounds). The table base has a flat-black painted finish. This table is truly one-of-a-kind.

Shipping is free right to your door in the lower 48 United States. It will come in a custom-built wooden crate.
